Surrendered Life

We all have to live our own life and sometimes we may struggle in following God's way, because we have our own thoughts.

Paul states that we should have the mind of Christ.

1 Corinthians 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

1 Corinthians 2:14-15 But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them] because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

The above scriptures show that we are not able to direct our thoughts and life towards the will of the Father, but only by the Spirit of God Himself.

This shows clearly that it is a matter of surrendering to the will of God, according to His word.

And it can only be done as we have surrendered our life to Jesus Christ, our Savior. He is the Mediator. The more we allow Jesus to take over and take God's word personally, the more we will become a servant of Him.

We will learn to act like He did, to those around us. Not that we have to do this, but because we WANT to, since His Spirit drives us on.

I am not saying that we will ever become HOLY as Christ was, in our old flesh.
But we will live far from a sinner's life. Sanctified through the Blood of Jesus, walking in His footprints.

In His Love,
